Service Description

Most relationship problems are bigger than the argument that brought you into the room. The disagreement about communication, intimacy, money, trust, responsibilities, family, boundaries, or unmet needs is often sitting on top of something deeper: resentment that has never been resolved, needs that have never been clearly expressed, wounds that are being repeatedly activated, expectations that were never discussed, or patterns both partners are participating in without fully recognizing them. Couples Relationship Coaching & Advisory creates a structured space to slow those dynamics down and understand what is actually happening between you. During our sessions, I pay attention not only to what you disagree about, but how the relationship functions while you disagree. We examine communication patterns, emotional triggers, assumptions, boundaries, trust, intimacy, responsibility, recurring conflict, power dynamics, and the ways each partner responds when they feel hurt, misunderstood, rejected, criticized, or unsafe. Both partners will have space to speak, but neither partner automatically becomes “the problem.” My role is not to choose sides. It is to help both of you see the relationship more clearly, including the places where each person may need to take greater responsibility for what they are contributing to the dynamic. Sometimes that means learning how to communicate differently. Sometimes it means addressing resentment that has accumulated for years. Sometimes it means establishing healthier boundaries, rebuilding trust, expressing needs more honestly, or confronting behaviors that are damaging the relationship. And sometimes the most important question becomes whether both people are genuinely willing and able to create the relationship they say they want. Because healthy partnership requires more than love. It requires honesty, accountability, emotional maturity, reciprocity, communication, shared values, respect, and the willingness to repair what has been damaged. These sessions are designed to help you move beyond repeating the same arguments and begin understanding the system underneath them so you can make meaningful changes rather than temporary peace. The goal isn't to determine who is right. The goal is to understand what is happening between you and what both of you are willing to do about it.
